Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 + Benefits

Bright Minds is searching for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of electronic security and building systems projects in the Albany market. This position requires hands-on technical access control experience and is ideal for someone who understands the field side of security systems while also having experience managing projects and customers. Candidates must be willing to work in the field as needed.

In this role, you'll take ownership of projects from award through completion, managing schedules, budgets, procurement, materials, subcontractors, field teams, and project documentation. You'll work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule, meet technical requirements, and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. You'll also monitor project costs and financial performance. The company is willing to provide additional training on the financial side of project management but is looking for someone with some existing budgeting, cost-control, or project financial experience.

Requirements for the Project Manager (Electronic Security / Access Control / Building Systems):

- Strong hands-on technical experience with access control and electronic security systems
- Experience managing technical projects from kickoff through completion
- Experience managing customer relationships and serving as a key point of contact
- Some experience with project financial management, budgeting, and cost control
- Ability and willingness to work in the field and coordinate directly with field personnel
- Experience managing project schedules, materials, procurement, and documentation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in fast-paced technical environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with fire alarm & life safety, building automation, or other low-voltage systems
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and field teams
- 5+ years of relevant field service, technical project management, or related industry experience
- PMI/PMP or other relevant project or industry certifications
- College degree, trade school education, or equivalent industry experience
