Apartment Maintenance Technician
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a well-established multifamily community. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and skilled in completing apartment repairs, work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns.
Responsibilities:
- Complete resident work orders accurately and efficiently
- Diagnose and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Perform make-ready duties, including minor drywall, painting, and fixture repairs
- Assist with apartment turns and property inspections
- Complete preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Maintain pools, common areas, grounds, and maintenance facilities as needed
- Respond professionally to resident and management requests
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Participate in an on-call rotation when required
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience required
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs
- EPA certification strongly preferred
- CPO certification is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must own basic maintenance tools
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance
- Must be able to pass applicable screening requirements
