Position Overview

The CCTV OPERATORS plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring surveillance systems, coordinating incident response, and supporting enforcement of HOA rules and community standards. This position requires the ability to function effectively as both a Surveillance Room Operator and a Security Dispatch Specialist, ensuring rapid response, accurate communication, and thorough documentation of all security-related activities.

Primary Roles & ResponsibilitiesSurveillance Operations

  • Monitor all surveillance systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems

  • Identify suspicious activity and security incidents in real time

  • Report, document, and escalate incidents according to established protocols

  • Support enforcement of HOA rules by providing surveillance evidence and incident details

Dispatch & Incident Response

  • Receive, prioritize, and manage calls for service from residents, security officers, and management

  • Dispatch security officers efficiently to incidents and service requests

  • Maintain clear, professional communication with onsite security personnel and external emergency services (police, fire, medical)

  • Provide accurate, timely updates to management regarding incidents and responses

Communication & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and dispatch logs

  • Facilitate clear communication between residents, security officers, management, and emergency responders

  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, security protocols, and confidentiality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Nevada PILB Guard Card with Armed Endorsement

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure situations

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize rapidly changing situations

  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with surveillance or dispatch software preferred

  • Prior experience in security, dispatch, surveillance, or a related field is a plus
