Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
- Diagnose issues involving motors, VFDs, PLCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
- Support production teams during equipment failures and planned shutdowns.
- Follow safety requirements including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Diagnose and repair production equipment, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and motors.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Complete scheduled PMs to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Inspect machinery for wear and potential failures.
- Repair and maintain valves, cylinders, pumps, compressors, and associated components.
- Troubleshoot pressure-related system issues.
- Fabricate replacement components as needed.
- Perform welding repairs on production equipment and plant infrastructure.
- Read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, drawings, and repair instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Technical school certificate, associate degree, or trade certification preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, building materials, steel, paper, lumber, food processing, or similar environments
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds
- Strong understanding of OSHA and safety regulations
- Welding certifications are a plus
- Electrical certifications are a plus
- Multi-craft maintenance experience preferred

Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial manufacturing facility with a fast-paced production environment. You will experience exposure to heat, dust, noise, and moving machinery. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors depending on equipment location, requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting. You must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57636.80 - $60528.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
