iWorld Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Lead for our client, a growing food company with facilities in Rochester NY. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on leadership role, leading by example, mentoring a team, and keeping production equipment running at peak performance.

Maintenance Group Leader Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support maintenance mechanics on shift while assigning and tracking daily work
- Partner with plant leadership on maintenance planning, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, equipment installation, and preventative maintenance
- Interpret and modify blueprints and schematics to support equipment reliability and upgrades
- Manage and report on work orders, maintenance projects, and equipment performance
- Promote and enforce safety standards, GMP compliance, and food quality requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency
Maintenance Group Leader Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical skills including welding, hydraulics, drive systems, and equipment repair
- Proven ability to lead or mentor a team in a maintenance or production setting
- Experience using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and interpreting technical manuals
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics
- Ability to work on site in Rochester NY.
Salary is based on experience $33/hour - $37/hour plus an excellent full benefit package and growth opportunity.
