Job DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience to help care for the buildings and indoor spaces at our private country club. This mid-level position is ideal for someone who’s worked in general maintenance before and is ready to take on more responsibility while working in a professional and member-focused environment.
You’ll perform a wide range of maintenance tasks across the clubhouse, fitness activity center, kitchens, restrooms, employee areas, and other interior spaces.
Key Responsibilities

Perform repairs and upkeep for plumbing, basic electrical, lighting, doors, walls, and basic carpentry.

Troubleshoot common building issues and complete minor fixes on your own.

Help maintain and monitor club systems like water heaters, exhaust fans, thermostats, and appliances.

Change air filters, repair ceiling tiles, patch drywall, and paint touch-ups as needed.

Support the Facilities Manager with preventive maintenance schedules and recordkeeping.

Follow all safety rules and report any hazards or unusual conditions.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

2–3 years of experience in general maintenance or building repair (hospitality, hotel, school, apartment, or club experience a plus).

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.

Able to work independently and take initiative.

Strong communication and customer service skills; professional appearance and attitude.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk/stand throughout shift, and work in different indoor/outdoor conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a country club, HOA, resort, or similar residential community is a plus.
Work Schedule & Environment:

Full Time
-
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

4:00 am - 2:30 pm
-
May require weekends, evenings, and on-call availability for emergency repairs.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
