We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance with proven skills in electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry. This role supports both residential and commercial properties and requires excellent customer service, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance issues across residential units.
- Complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics.
- Execute painting projects to maintain property appearance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, supply inventory, and work order documentation.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with internal departments to minimize disruptions.
- Turn over vacant units efficiently, ensuring they are ready for new residents.
- Install and troubleshoot minor appliance repairs.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of maintenance or facilities experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair multiple systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with residents and staff.
- Proven customer service experience.
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
