Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and highly organized Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing communities in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in Public Housing, Tax Credit (LIHTC), and Section 8 programs who can independently manage operations, ensure compliance, and provide exceptional service to residents.

Position Overview

As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 100-unit primary community and multiple satellite properties totaling approximately 140 units. This position requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance expertise, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for a 100-unit primary community and satellite properties totaling 140 units.
• Ensure compliance with Public Housing, Tax Credit (LIHTC), and Section 8 regulations.
• Manage resident relations and professionally resolve resident concerns.
• Oversee leasing activities, certifications, recertifications, and resident documentation.
• Maintain occupancy goals and support resident retention efforts.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and unit readiness.
• Monitor property performance and ensure communities are maintained to company standards.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare required compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Previous Property Management experience required.
• Experience managing Public Housing communities required.
• Strong knowledge of Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Section 8 Housing programs.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple properties.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with property management/compliance software such as Yardi or RealPage.
• Prior multi-site property management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance requirements.
