Assistant Commercial Property Manager
A rapidly growing full-service commercial real estate company is looking for an entry-level Assistant Property Manager. We are located west of the 5 in Carlsbad and walking distance to the beach,. Our boutique firm has a hard-working atmosphere that values a proper work-life balance.
Must be detail oriented, well organized, and computer savvy with a "get it done" attitude. This is an early career position for someone that wants to take their skill set to the next level and get exposure to every facet of commercial real estate including property and asset management, leasing, brokerage, and development.
College degree preferred, at least 1-3 years’ relevant experience required with a DRE CA salesperson license a plus. Must have the ability to drive and travel overnight for property site inspections and perform physical tasks like accessing roof ladders. This will be an hourly wage position DOE with flex scheduling and work from home since we have an hybrid, rotational office schedule. However, this position will need to work in the office for the first 90 days during the probationary period.
Duties include:
• Conduct routine property site visits including overnight travel.
• Supervise property contracts and vendors.
• Build and maintain a best-in-class level of service.
• Resolve day-to-day property management issues.
• Maintain personal contact with all tenants, vendors and clients.
• Maintain tenant and vendor insurance requirements.
• Provide monthly reporting of property issues.
• Office and administrative tasks as needed.
