Pay: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Overtime: Fridays and Saturdays as production needs dictate
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and motivated Facilities Maintenance / Janitorial Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for facility housekeeping, grounds maintenance, waste removal, and general building upkeep. The ideal candidate enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, and can safely operate equipment such as forklifts and commercial lawn mowers.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the manufacturing facility, offices, and common areas
• Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, lobby, restrooms, locker rooms, and breakrooms
• Empty trash from offices, production areas, restrooms, and outdoor receptacles
• Restock restroom and breakroom supplies, including paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning products
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Operate a 60-inch zero-turn mower to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing sidewalks and parking lots
• Safely operate a forklift to transport large trash containers and waste bins to designated disposal areas
• Keep parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, and outdoor areas clean and free of debris
• Monitor janitorial and maintenance supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed
• Assist with minor facility maintenance projects and general labor as assigned
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment

Required Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities maintenance, or groundskeeping experience preferred
• Experience operating a 60-inch zero-turn mower is required
• Previous forklift experience is required (certification preferred or ability to become certified)
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean facility
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate commercial lawn equipment, forklifts, and cleaning equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
