We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Kidlavie LLC. The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our playground, party rooms, and restaurant areas. This position ensures that children, families, and guests enjoy a clean and hygienic experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas including playground equipment, dining areas, party rooms, restrooms, and kitchen support areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces on a regular schedule.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure waste is disposed of according to health and safety regulations.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and restocking supplies.
- Assist in preparing party rooms before and after events (tables, chairs, decorations, and general tidiness).
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed supplies to the supervisor.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the playground and restaurant areas are always presentable and guest-ready.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning/janitorial experience preferred (hospitality, restaurant, or childcare facility experience a plus).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.
- Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, and stand for long periods.
