Apartment Maintenance Technician | Full-TimeThe Springs Apartments | North Indianapolis, IN


Do you take pride in fixing things, solving problems, and keeping a community looking its best? The Springs Apartments, located on the north side of Indianapolis, is looking for a dependable, motivated Full-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team.

What You'll Do

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  
  
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
  
  
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including painting, repairs, cleaning touch-ups, and inspections.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, doors, locks, and other building systems.
  
  
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community grounds and common areas.
  
  
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal property needs as required.
  
  
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
  
  
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
  
  
• Work closely with the Property Director and Maintenance Supervisor to provide an exceptional living experience for our residents.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or related maintenance experience preferred.
  
  
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general carpentry.
  
  
• HVAC certification is a plus but not required.
  
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of the position.
  
  
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
