DPS is now hiring a Porter for an Upscale/Fine Dining Facility in Houston, TX. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.

Job Details:

Location: The Galleria Houston

Available Shifts: (Days vary)

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:00pm with Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm.

Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm with Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm.

Starting Pay Rate: $14.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Temporary to hire

Porter (Upscale/Fine Dining) Responsibilities:

Assist with event setups, room arrangements, and the preparation of designated areas for meetings, functions, and special occasions.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the residential facility, including common areas, lobbies, dining room and designated service areas.
Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Collect, transport, and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor common areas for cleanliness, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and items requiring immediate attention.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Wash dishes as needed.

Education Requirements:

High school education or GED required.

Job Requirements:

2+ current years of porter experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
