Maintenance Technician
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Mill Supervisor
Summary:
Repairs and corrects machine issues to keep the shop floor running.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop controls knowledge, with a detailed training plan on FANUC controls
- Assist purchasing manager with administrative duties (spares inventory, spares ordering, PM management, etc.)
- Performing machine repair
- Performing preventative maintenance (cleaning machine coolant tanks, dumping chip hoppers, etc.)
- Assisting with production needs
- Diagnose machine issues and develop repair strategies
- Help diagnose, develop, and implement predictive maintenance plans
- Work with department supervisors to prioritize and complete maintenance activities
- Maintain building shop floor cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience/Education:
- Agree to NETFORM Employee Handbook
- Pass pre-employment screening (drug test, background check)
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (lbs)
- Proven track record of troubleshooting Haas, Okuma, Samsung, or Doosan machines
- Minimum 3 years of proven industrial maintenance experience
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, and movement throughout the production facility for approximately 80% of the scheduled shift
- Must be capable of safely lifting and moving materials, components, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds (lbs).
