Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Install Technician – Security Systems to join our Security team. In this role, you'll install, wire, program, repair, and support commercial electronic security systems while ensuring quality work, customer satisfaction, and project success.

This is a hands-on field role supporting commercial access control, IP video, intrusion alarm, and other low-voltage security systems.

What You'll Be Doing

· Install, wire, program, repair, and support commercial electronic security systems, including access control, IP video, intrusion alarm, and other low-voltage systems.

· Complete system programming according to specifications, design requirements, and applicable code requirements.

· Document system installations by updating design drawings and completing required forms and reports.

· Lead projects and direct less experienced technicians when needed.

· Perform service on security systems in a timely, professional, and quality-focused manner.

· Participate in the on-call schedule for after-hours service.

· Present yourself professionally to customers to create and maintain strong customer relationships.

· Participate in education and training classes to continue building technical knowledge and skills.

What We're Looking For

Required

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Minimum of three years of experience installing electronic security systems for commercial end users.

· Knowledge of integrated security, access control, IP video, intrusion alarm, and other low-voltage systems.

· Proficiency in installation methods, materials, wiring, building codes, and design standards.

· Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.

· Excellent communication skills, valid driver's license, and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Preferred

· Bachelor's degree preferred.

· Experience leading projects or directing less experienced technicians preferred.

· Training or certifications related to electronic security, access control, IP video, intrusion alarm, or low-voltage systems preferred.

· Experience reviewing design drawings, specifications, reports, or customer system needs preferred.
