Imagine starting your day on the Mayfield Heights office campus, greeting a team of facility professionals and service partners who look to you for direction. By mid-morning, you're reviewing an infrastructure modernization plan impacting the Twinsburg manufacturing facility. In the afternoon, you’re aligning preventive maintenance and energy-efficiency strategies that extend to several remote sales offices across North America. As our Corporate Facilities Operations Leader, you will report to the Americas Facilities Manager and orchestrate safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations while advancing sustainability, asset performance, and business growth. This role is fully onsite; hybrid or remote work is not available.
What you'll drive
- Lead and mentor an in-house facilities team and strategic external providers to deliver exceptional service across multiple sites.
- Oversee complex projects: office renovations, manufacturing upgrades, laboratory and warehouse improvements, and broader site development initiatives.
- Own operating and capital budgets, identifying ways to optimize resources, lower costs, and boost asset performance.
- Conduct facility condition assessments and asset lifecycle planning; build capital forecasts; champion sustainability and energy-reduction programs aligned to corporate goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards; manage vendors and contractors; support business continuity planning.
Core qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly relevant experience.
Preferred background
- 5+ years leading employees, contractors, and service providers.
- 8+ years of progressive facilities management across office, manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse settings.
- Proven success running capital projects, managing operating budgets, and cultivating vendor relationships.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Ohio.
- Experience overseeing multi-site portfolios across North America.
- Track record delivering capital equipment replacements, infrastructure modernization, and renovations from planning through execution.
- Hands-on use of CMMS, preventive maintenance, reliability programs, performance metrics, and AI-enabled facilities solutions.
- Technical depth in HVAC, electrical infrastructure, utilities, building automation systems, and other critical assets.
- Strong financial acumen in capital forecasting, budget development, and project cost control.
