We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong experience in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and facility maintenance. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring maximum operational reliability to support production and site operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and services according to established schedules for both equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, diesel engine, and basic facility issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform general facility maintenance including, but not limited to, lighting, HVAC support, minor plumbing, painting, and basic building repairs • Maintain detailed service records, including equipment and facility maintenance logs and repair documentation.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, hydraulic schematics, diesel engine diagrams, building layouts, and blueprints.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and facility maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with standard safety practices in a manufacturing and facility environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform tasks in confined spaces.
