Join a Skokie-based company specializing in Apple device buybacks for schools and businesses, where you will ensure repairs meet quality standards and maintain the inventory of incoming devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards.
• Keep track of repairs department incoming inventory.
• Disassemble, diagnose, replace defective parts, and reassemble completed devices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MacOS and iOS.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPad components.
• Support productivity by handling all requests in a timely manner.
• Work unsupervised while prioritizing and delivering high-quality work.
• Record work performed accurately.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards.
• Wear assigned safety equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and supplies.
• Follow quality service standards and company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute ideas to improve and optimize workflows.
• Keep the warehouse and workstations clean and organized.
• Demonstrate organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Be willing to be flexed or cross-trained to other departments as needed.

• Proficiency in packing and cleaning.
• Experience in a repetitive position, ideally in cleaning or packing.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse setting with various work stations, where you may be sitting or standing. The warehouse is air-conditioned, and you must be comfortable with both sitting and standing. Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
