Job DescriptionRegional Property Manager in Hampton, VA
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seraching for a motivated and results-oriented Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities. This role provides leadership to on-site teams, supports property performance, and ensures strong resident service, operational consistency, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support four Property Managers and their on-site teams.
• Monitor financial performance, collections, budgets, income projections, occupancy, renewals, and marketing results.
• Ensure properties are operated in the owners' best interests and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Oversee capital projects, renovations, unit upgrades, maintenance scheduling, inspections, and market-ready apartments.
• Coach employees through ongoing training, performance management, counseling, and administrative processes.
• Resolve escalated resident concerns while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding scheduling, billing, insurance requirements, and invoice processing.
• Ensure timely response to property emergencies and other operational issues.
Qualifications
• Three to five years of multifamily property management experience.
• Previous experience as an Area Manager, Assistant Regional Manager, or similar multi-site leader preferred.
• Strong leadership, team-building, performance management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, income projections, leasing, collections, vendor management, and property operations.
• Experience overseeing renovations or major capital projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software; Yardi experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and driving history review.
Schedule & Travel
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional availability for urgent property matters.
• Frequent regional travel between assigned properties, plus occasional overnight travel as needed.
• Mileage reimbursement provided.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $95,000-$115,000.
• Performance-based bonus opportunity of 10%-15%.
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage with employer contributions.
• 401(k) plan with employer match.
• Paid time off beginning after 90 days, with increased vacation eligibility based on tenure.
• Paid holidays.
Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
