Commercial Door Technician
Royal Overhead Door, Inc. is seeking a dependable Commercial Door Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial overhead doors, rolling doors, operators, and related equipment. We welcome experienced technicians as well as mechanically skilled candidates who are eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, install, and service commercial door systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
- Read work orders, manuals, measurements, and basic wiring diagrams.
- Communicate clearly with customers and explain completed work.
- Maintain accurate service records and care for company tools and vehicles.
- Follow all company, manufacturer, and jobsite safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical, electrical, construction, or commercial door experience preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physical tasks—with or without reasonable accommodation.
