Maintenance Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliable operation of machinery and equipment, performing both preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on various manufacturing equipment, including PLC systems.
- Implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
