- Starting up to $19.75/hour, paid weekly

Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair, replace, and maintain defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building and equipment systems operate efficiently
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Inspect equipment, structures, and materials for proper operation and potential issues
- Complete required paperwork and documentation for equipment, maintenance activities, and assigned tasks
- Assist with planning and scheduling routine maintenance and establish work priorities with management
- Follow established procedures for safely operating equipment and comply with all applicable safety policies
- Promote a safe work environment through personal actions, identification of safety concerns, and identification of cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area at all times
- Perform general physical activities, including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, walking, and moving materials or equipment
- Safely handle and move objects and operate material-handling equipment as required
- Maintain an understandable working knowledge of equipment Operators Manuals
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operating and safe-driving practices, including applicable checkout procedures and no-contact policies
- Assist with general housekeeping and other facility maintenance activities
- Work any shift as needed to support business operations
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Relevant maintenance certifications and experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Building and construction experience preferred
- Certification and demonstrated ability to operate an electric pallet jack, forklift, and reach truck required
- Working knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and coworkers
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and successfully complete challenging assignments
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and communicate effectively beyond simply giving or receiving instructions
- Ability to reason, negotiate, instruct, persuade, and respond appropriately to constructive criticism and supervisory direction
- Knowledge of warehouse and distribution center operations
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand numbers, labels, instructions, and equipment information
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safe work practices
- Demonstrated experience repairing and maintaining equipment, including troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to walk, navigate, and access all areas of a warehouse or distribution center
- Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to safely work around and operate heavy moving equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, and scissor lifts
- Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and productivity standards
- follow all safety rules, MHE operating procedures, safe-driving practices, equipment checkout requirements, and other company policies
- Expected to identify and report safety concerns and contribute to maintaining a safe workplace
