Job Description:
Fire Alarm Controls Tech is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings. Their duties include:
- Installation and Programming: Installing and programming fire alarm systems, including control panels, sensors, and notification devices.
- Inspection and Testing: Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure systems are functioning properly and meet local and national codes.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Identifying and resolving issues with fire alarm systems, replacing faulty components, and performing repairs.
Educational Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- NICET certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes
- Experience with commercial and residential fire alarm systems
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
What we offer:
This project-based opportunity has full-time potential. The current project will be from 6-12 months. The schedule will vary, however, the expectation for the position is a minimum of 40 hours weekly to 70 hours weekly as required by client. This is a 1099 contract; depending on experience, and ranges from $30-$32 per hour. You must reside in the area and able to commute successfully for day-to-day operation. The schedule is M-F; however, flexibility is a must. Please reach out with your resume.
