**Work Schedule:** Day Shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

As a Maintenance Technician, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment, adhering to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance protocols. Compensation, Benefits, and More.

The hourly wage for this position is set at $27.50. Our organization believes this reflects the appropriate pay for this role at the time of posting. However, the final compensation may vary, and this rate is specifically for positions based in Washington. Future adjustments to this rate may occur. Additionally, this position qualifies for an hourly shift differential. Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment such as Chucks and 6 River mobile pick units.
  • Repair and service a diverse range of facility-related equipment.
  • Stay informed about plant layout and current company policies regarding safety and environmental matters.
  • Oversee the maintenance of facilities infrastructure and equipment across various areas, including carpentry, electrical work, painting, plastering, drywall, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and mechanical tasks; coordinate with third-party service providers as necessary.
  • Execute advanced plumbing tasks, including the installation, repair, and replacement of plumbing fixtures and clearing blockages from water and sewer lines.
  • Assist in the introduction of new processes and equipment as they are integrated into the organization.
  • Process products requiring testing and mechanical evaluation.
  • Carry out cosmetic repairs to ensure products are in sellable condition.
  • Perform scheduled routine maintenance on machines, including disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, low-voltage electrical, and coolant systems.
  • Complete necessary preventive maintenance promptly; document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.

Qualifications for Success:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience and knowledge in reading basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree, specialized vocational training, or equivalent experience in product maintenance.
  • An active Journeyman license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, with strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and industrial operations.
  • Experience with tools and equipment used in building maintenance, reconstruction, and repair.
  • Ability to utilize drawings, manuals, and diagrams to coordinate and complete the installation of equipment and components according to specifications.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with managers, employees, and vendors while providing status updates and performing maintenance and repair tasks.

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. above waist level and carry heavy items.
  • Safely walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery.
  • Reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Access all areas of equipment to perform necessary maintenance, including inspecting and working in, on, or under parts of the machinery.
  • Safely and effectively operate lift trucks and manual lifting equipment during the installation, modification, or repair of industrial equipment.
