Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–5:00 PM / 1st Shift

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Clackamas, OR.
As the primary maintenance professional at the facility, you will play a critical role in keeping production equipment, facility systems, and operations running safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of maintenance operations.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and other electronic controls.
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks according to production and maintenance priorities.
- Repair and maintain facility support systems and assist with maintenance of the physical structure.
- Maintain a Maintenance Action Log by equipment to document repairs and establish a baseline for future preventive maintenance.
- Participate in equipment startup, shutdown, and shutdown task planning as needed.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors when required.
- Work with vendors and OEMs to obtain parts pricing, repair recommendations, and technical support.
- Follow safe work practices during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized maintenance work area and properly care for tools and supplies.
- Follow all company, local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Be available for overtime and occasional on-call coverage as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and other electronic equipment.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Basic computer and PC proficiency.
- Basic welding skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn and attend training classes as defined by management.
- Flexibility to work overtime, on-call shifts, and occasionally holidays or weekends when needed.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
- Frequently bend, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.
- Work around moving machinery.
- Work in environments with changing temperatures and humidity.
- Be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
