Job DescriptionAllegiance Staffing in Greer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in nonwoven manufacturing for a growing company in Gray Court, SC. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment—both electrical and mechanical—while ensuring compliance with safety and preventive maintenance standards.Pay:$25.00 to $35.00 DOEShift:7p-7a M-Th Key Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on machinery and plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read manuals and work orders; diagnose issues and replace or repair parts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain clean, safe work areas.
- Operate hand/power tools and material handling equipment.
- Report unusual or defective operations to supervision.
Qualifications:
- Experience in nonwoven manufacturing is required
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift 35+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license; forklift experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems a plus
