Experienced Maintenance Technician Needed – START ASAP

We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Covington, LA 70433.

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, hands-on maintenance professional who can hit the ground running. If you have previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience, take pride in your work, and are ready to start ASAP, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and service requests
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance issues
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready work
• Maintain vacant units, common areas, and property equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Help keep the property safe, clean, and well-maintained
• Follow property safety procedures and maintenance standards

Requirements

• Previous apartment/multifamily maintenance experience REQUIRED
• Must be able to start ASAP
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and have excellent attendance
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude
• HVAC/EPA certification is a plus
