<p>Experience preferred........Part-time Maintenance Assistant carries out and follows all facility policies and procedures in regard to the operation of maintenance department. Performs routine checks on major systems, such as auxiliary generator, fire alarms, door alarms, nurse call system. Lifts and moves heavy furniture and equipment. Conducts periodic inspections of the building. Maintains outside yard and sidewalks including mowing, trimming, raking, salting, shoveling, and sanding. Follows established safety rules/accident prevention. Disposes of waste properly.</p>
