Talent Group is conducting confidential pre-screening interviews on behalf of our well established manufacturing client. We're seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and develop a high-performing maintenance team of 10 to 12 direct reports.
This is a highly visible leadership position where you'll have the opportunity to drive preventive maintenance initiatives, improve uptime, reduce downtime, and partner directly with plant leadership to make a measurable impact on the operation.

What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead and develop the maintenance department in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Drive equipment reliability and preventive maintenance initiatives
- Establish maintenance goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Partner with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- Oversee building and facility maintenance, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and grounds maintenance
- Manage outside contractors and service providers
- Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
- Lead continuous improvement projects and TPM initiatives
- Support environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance efforts
- Participate in safety committee activities and emergency response planning
What We're Looking For
- Maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, metals, automotive, steel, aluminum, or other industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems
- Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term solutions
- Experience leading maintenance technicians, planners, or supervisors
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Experience
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement
- CMMS systems
- Steel, aluminum, metals processing, automotive supplier, or heavy industrial manufacturing experience
- Environmental and safety compliance experience
