Talent Group is conducting confidential pre-screening interviews on behalf of our well established manufacturing client. We're seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and develop a high-performing maintenance team of 10 to 12 direct reports.

This is a highly visible leadership position where you'll have the opportunity to drive preventive maintenance initiatives, improve uptime, reduce downtime, and partner directly with plant leadership to make a measurable impact on the operation.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead and develop the maintenance department in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
  • Drive equipment reliability and preventive maintenance initiatives
  • Establish maintenance goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Partner with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
  • Oversee building and facility maintenance, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and grounds maintenance
  • Manage outside contractors and service providers
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and TPM initiatives
  • Support environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Participate in safety committee activities and emergency response planning

What We're Looking For

  • Maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, metals, automotive, steel, aluminum, or other industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems
  • Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term solutions
  • Experience leading maintenance technicians, planners, or supervisors
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Preferred Experience

  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement
  • CMMS systems
  • Steel, aluminum, metals processing, automotive supplier, or heavy industrial manufacturing experience
  • Environmental and safety compliance experience
