Leasing Agent – Minneapolis, MN

Career Strategies is hiring an experienced Leasing Agent for an apartment community in Minneapolis, MN. This position is ideal for a motivated leasing professional who enjoys working with residents, conducting apartment tours, and helping prospective residents find their next home.
Responsibilities
- Respond to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Schedule and conduct apartment tours
- Explain apartment features, pricing, availability, and community amenities
- Process rental applications and required documentation
- Conduct background and rental history screening
- Prepare and process lease agreements
- Complete move-in and move-out procedures
- Maintain accurate leasing and resident records
- Follow up with prospective residents and leads
- Assist with maintaining occupancy and meeting leasing goals
- Respond to resident questions and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain professional and welcoming leasing office and model units
- Follow Fair Housing regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous apartment leasing, residential leasing, or property management experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional and friendly personality
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer and administrative skills
- Previous property management software experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
