What You'll Do
As an Experienced Pest Control Technician, you'll provide professional pest control services to residential and commercial customers throughout Greater Columbus.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform interior and exterior pest control treatments
- Identify and treat common household pests, including ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, stinging insects, and other pests
- Conduct thorough property inspections to identify pest activity, entry points, and contributing conditions
- Recommend effective treatment plans and preventative solutions
- Apply pesticides safely and in accordance with product labels and Ohio regulations
- Independently manage a daily service route
- Build positive customer relationships through friendly, knowledgeable service
- Identify additional service opportunities based on customer needs
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Maintain company equipment and vehicles in a clean, professional condition
What We're Looking For
This position is intended for technicians with existing professional pest control experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous hands-on professional pest control experience
- Knowledge of common household pests and treatment methods
- Experience using professional pesticide application equipment
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to independently manage daily responsibilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to work outdoors and perform the physical requirements of the position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Ohio commercial pesticide applicator license (Category 10a – General Pest Control)
- 2+ years of professional pest control experience
- Experience managing residential and commercial pest control routes
- Experience with rodent control, exclusion services, and specialty pest treatments
$2,000 Signing Bonus Details
Qualified, experienced technicians with a current Ohio commercial pesticide applicator license may be eligible for a $2,000 signing bonus, paid as follows:
- $500 after 30 days of employment
- $500 after 90 days of employment
- $1,000 after 180 days of employment
Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting established qualifications, continued employment, and satisfactory job performance. Full terms will be provided in writing.
