A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activities within a fast-paced production facility. This position is responsible for ensuring manufacturing equipment and facility systems are properly maintained, maintenance work is completed on schedule, and the maintenance team is effectively organized to support production requirements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance leader with strong troubleshooting skills, experience supervising maintenance personnel, and a solid understanding of industrial equipment and facility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance function for a manufacturing facility and ensure production equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
  • Schedule and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules and adjust priorities as operational needs change.
  • Manage, schedule, train, and provide day-to-day direction to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure required maintenance activities are completed on time.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues and determine appropriate repairs or corrective actions.
  • Work with maintenance personnel to diagnose and resolve complex equipment problems.
  • Monitor maintenance work orders and ensure work is completed according to established quality and safety standards.
  • Order equipment, replacement parts, tools, and supplies required to support maintenance activities.
  • Monitor maintenance-related spending and help ensure departmental expenses remain within established budget requirements.
  • Develop and improve maintenance procedures that support equipment reliability and production performance.
  • Ensure maintenance employees follow established company policies and safety requirements.
  • Support environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance within the facility.
  • Manage multiple maintenance projects and priorities while meeting operational timelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Previous maintenance leadership, management, or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial and facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Strong leadership and personnel-management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar business software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
