Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Are you a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical skills? Our client is seeking a first shift Maintenance Technician to join a high-volume manufacturing environment where your technical expertise will make a direct impact.

- Troubleshoot PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical presses or thermoforming equipment

Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery to minimize downtime
- Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Review and maintain work orders, logs, inspection sheets, and checklists
- Troubleshoot PLCs and ensure smooth operation of automated systems
- Adjust machine parameters to correct product defects and optimize performance
- Train and support production staff on proper equipment operation
- Follow GMP and all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
- Operate forklifts and man lifts as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical experience required
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume, high-speed manufacturing environments
- Mechanical press and/or thermoforming experience a plus
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Must have own tools
