What You Will Do:
Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
Inspect machinery, conveyors, motors, facility systems, and support equipment
Install, set up, and assist with new equipment commissioning
Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory
Work closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
Follow all safety, GMP, and food quality standards
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, food production, beverage, packaging, or industrial environments
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Experience with conveyors, motors, Allen-Bradley systems, and 3-phase electrical systems is a plus
Welding, fabrication, machining, forklift, or aerial lift experience is highly valued

Work Environment:
Fast-paced beverage manufacturing facility working around production, packaging, and warehouse equipment. PPE required. Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Some work may be performed in refrigerated areas and around cleaning chemicals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
