Senior Electrical Maintenance Technologist
Job Description
Job DescriptionSenior Electrical Maintenance Technologist
Location: Belvidere, NJ | Work Setting: Onsite
What your day looks like
Sunrise over the Belvidere site. You review the operations plan, align on permits through Permit Cliqs with production, and verify lockout/tagout is rock solid. A variable frequency drive isn’t behaving—your meter and experience quickly narrow the root cause. Before lunch, you calibrate a flow transmitter, validate temperature loops, and log PMs in line with cGMPs and SOPs. The afternoon is for preventive work—thermography, ultrasonic checks, and tightening up our reliability KPIs—so the lines keep moving and product quality stays impeccable.
Your impact
- Partner with operations to initiate and close out Permit Cliqs (work permits) before any task begins.
- Champion LOTO—no exceptions.
- Pinpoint equipment faults, discuss likely causes, and propose pragmatic fixes.
- Diagnose and repair VFDs, PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), 480V 3-phase motors, and associated controls including breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit/cable, protective devices, MCC buckets, switches, and metrology devices.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, and repair instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature, and level (e.g., transmitter flow devices, level controls, temperature measurement).
- Execute preventive maintenance: routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
- Contribute to other site priorities and duties as assigned by site leadership.
How we work
Every task is executed to Key Performance Measures, cGMPs, SOPs, safety and regulatory standards, and divisional goals—so equipment runs safely, reliably, and ready for what’s next.
What you bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
- Flexibility to cover weekends, overtime (including standby/coverage), and holidays as needed. Willing to cross-train and perform within your primary craft.
- Hands-on expertise with VFDs, PLCs, 480V 3-phase systems, protective devices, MCC buckets, calibration controllers, and metrology.
What we offer
Hourly pay range: $23.41 – $43.27 (based on skills, experience, education/training, and primary work location). Our total rewards include annual incentive opportunities, retirement savings plan, healthcare coverage, paid time off, recognition programs, and a wide range of additional benefits (eligibility rules apply).
