Key Responsibilities
- Maintain apartment homes, buildings, grounds, and common areas
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in (turns/make-readies)
- Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed
- Track and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior maintenance experience required (multifamily experience preferred)
- HVAC experience required; EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems
- Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
- Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual a plus
