BG Staffing is currently seeking three dependable Porter/Groundskeepers for a short-term, 3-day assignment at a residential community in Madison, WI. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying active, working independently, and taking pride in maintaining clean and welcoming environments.
We're looking for reliable team members who can assist with property upkeep by walking hallways, collecting trash, and maintaining trash rooms throughout the community. If you're hardworking, punctual, and ready to jump in for a quick assignment, we'd love to hear from you.
Assignment Schedule
- Friday, August 14: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Saturday, August 15: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Sunday, August 16: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Position Responsibilities
As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you will help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the property by:
- Walking interior hallways and common areas to remove debris and litter
- Collecting and disposing of trash throughout the community
- Keeping trash rooms clean, organized, and presentable
- Monitoring common areas for cleanliness and reporting any concerns
- Assisting with general groundskeeping and property upkeep as needed
- Supporting property staff in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents and guests
- Following all safety procedures and property guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, housekeeping, or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move trash and other materials safely
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
