Facilities Custodian / Cleaner (6-7 Week Contract)
Location: Visalia, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Now Hiring: Facilities Custodian / Cleaner
SkySource Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Custodian / Cleaner for a 6-7 week contract assignment in Visalia, CA. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional facility environment through janitorial, cleaning, painting, and groundskeeping duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing custodial or maintenance-related tasks and take pride in keeping facilities clean, organized, and presentable both inside and outside the building.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize common areas, offices, restrooms, and breakrooms.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
- Assist with painting walls, doors, railings, and other facility surfaces.
- Operate leaf blowers to clear sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor areas.
- Pick up debris, leaves, and litter from facility grounds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to management.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with additional facility upkeep projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial, janitorial, facilities, housekeeping, or general maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
- Painting experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach frequently throughout the workday.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Comfortable operating cleaning equipment and landscaping tools such as leaf blowers.
