A well-established industrial fire suppression organization is immediately looking to hire several Special Hazard Fire Suppression Technicians to to cover the Houston, TX and sourrounding areas. Fire Suppression Technicians will primarily be responsible for servicing and installing, as well as troubleshooting, inspecting, and programming special-hazards fire suppression systems (i.e. clean agent, inert gas, direct-injection, water mist, Titan1230, etc.) and panels (i.e. Notifier, Potter, etc.), from quick retrofits to large multi-site rollouts, in commercial and industrial settings (i.e. airport hangars, data centers, etc.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· At least three (3) years service/install experience with commercial and/or industrial special hazards fire suppression systems
· Previous experience with clean-agent systems (FK-5-1-12) or similar systems/products used in aviation/data/energy sectors, required.
· NICET- Special Hazards Certification
· Strong troubleshooting and programming skills
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Successfully hired Field Service Suppression Techs must pass a pre-employment Background Check (Criminal, Drug, Employment Verification, MVR).
SHIFT: Days, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday). OT after 40 hours. No Oncall.
COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERSK:
- $32.00 - $50.00/hour+++
