We are currently hiring an experienced Leasing Agent for an apartment community in Minneapolis, MN. We are looking for a motivated, personable professional who enjoys working with residents and helping prospective renters find their next home.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available apartments
- Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Process rental applications and assist with the leasing process
- Explain rental criteria, policies, and community features to prospective residents
- Follow up with prospective residents and maintain strong lead communication
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and related documentation
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and resident communications
- Maintain accurate leasing and resident records
- Assist with marketing and maintaining property occupancy
- Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents
- Address resident questions and concerns professionally
- Maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office and community
Qualifications
- Previous apartment leasing or property management experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sales and leasing experience preferred
- Professional and personable attitude
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and property management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Affordable housing experience is a plus but not required
