Property Accountant
$75,000 - $85,000 annually
Hybrid Schedule (2-3 days onsite per week)

Hire Connections is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing property management organization, seeking an experienced Property Accountant to support a portfolio of residential properties. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and budget support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting for assigned properties
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit activities
- Monitor cash balances and assist with cash management
- Partner with property management teams to review financial performance
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of property, real estate, or multifamily accounting experience
- Experience with Yardi Voyager required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
