Property Maintenance Technician

Job Description United Talent Staffing is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to assist with general maintenance and upkeep at an apartment community in the Morgantown area. This is a great opportunity for someone with general handyman or property maintenance experience who is comfortable handling a variety of day-to-day repairs. No specific trade certifications are required.
Pay & Schedule

• $17–$19/hour, based on experience
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Duties

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner and update/close requests in the work order system.
• Perform general handyman repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and fixture repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspect apartments and common areas for needed repairs.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including repairs, touch-ups, unit preparation, and general upkeep.
• Safely operate and maintain basic tools and facility equipment while following established safety procedures.
• Coordinate with and assist outside vendors as needed for repairs, landscaping, snow removal, and other property services.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop, storage areas, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with property upkeep, curb appeal, trash removal, and other maintenance duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous maintenance, handyman, apartment, construction, or similar experience preferred
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Able to troubleshoot and handle a variety of general repairs
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
• Able to perform the physical requirements of a hands-on maintenance position
