MEMCO Houston is hiring a PARKS MAINTENANCE TECH to start ASAP
Job Location: Greater Houston area
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Job Information:
- Oversee small construction and maintenance projects (such as installation of concrete pads, fencing, power washing, landscaping, etc.)
- Maintain/repair various types of park assets (such as benches, waste receptacles, etc.)
- Inventory park assets (signs, site furniture, etc.)
- Install and monitor trail counters
- Perform regular trail amenity inspections
- Communicate with contractors and vendors
- Interact with trail users in a courteous and professional manner
- Communicate issues regarding infrastructure, furnishings, safety hazards, quality of the trail user experience issues as needed
- Perform physical labor (such as standing, crouching, climbing ladders) daily in all weather conditions and lift 100 lbs. repeatedly throughout a given workday
- MUST have valid Driver's license
