Job Title: Fleet & Facilities Coordinator
Location: Portland, ME (90%) with occasional travel to Bangor, ME; Brunswick, ME; Exeter, NH; Hampton, NH
Pay: $35–$42.75/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm + availability for emergency response support
Overview
Adecco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet & Facilities Coordinator to support daily operations, maintenance, and compliance activities at our client in Portland, ME. This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination experience in fleet, facilities, or operations who can manage multiple priorities while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
This is a contract opportunity with potential for direct hire.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections for fleet vehicles and facilities
- Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and work orders
- Track and ensure compliance with all fleet and facilities regulations (local, state, federal)
- Support capital projects including fleet acquisitions and facility improvements
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Provide day-to-day operational support to internal teams and leadership
- Assist with emergency response activities and provide team backup as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in fleet coordination, facilities management, or similar operations role
- Strong working knowledge of vehicle and/or building maintenance processes
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (registrations, inspections, safety standards)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and maintenance tracking systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in utilities, construction, or field operations environments
- Knowledge of fleet management systems or CMMS platforms
- Experience supporting capital projects or asset procurement
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel occasionally (approx. 10%)
- Availability to support emergency or after-hours operational needs

Pay Details: $35.00 to $42.75 per hour
