Job summary
We are seeking a friendly and detailed-oriented Janitorial/ Cleaning professional to join our team at Calderon Furniture! As our Janitorial / cleaning professional, you will be responsible for keeping all areas of the building clean and tide. Responsibilities may include some light grounds keeping, the cleaning of all customer and non-customer areas, maintaining the cleanliness of all showroom furniture and some travel as we have a few locations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, works well by themselves, has previous experience and knowledge of janitorial / furniture maintenance and a willingness to travel.
Job duties/ functions:
- Maintaining cleanliness of parking area such as trash pickup, sweeping and pressure washing
- Collection and disposal of trash
- Clean restrooms and stock them with supplies
- Keep all furniture clean and presentable
- Sweep, mop and polish showroom floors
- Clean all common areas (break room and offices)
- Maintain all supplies needed for the upkeep of all responsibilities
- Clean all window exterior and interior
Qualification
- Prior Janitorial / Cleaning a plus but not a requirement
- Must have a reliable form of transportation (as you will be traveling between our locations)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable with lifting 40 lbs. without causing injury
- Comfortable with bending, twisting and standing for long periods
- Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
- Self-motivated and able to use time effectively
