Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of production equipment and machines. The role involves installing and repairing electrical components of industrial equipment and machinery, performing all preventive maintenance functions, and ensuring the upkeep of buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of production equipment.
  • Install and repair electrical components of industrial machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance functions.
  • Ensure maintenance of buildings and grounds.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Work on conveyors, high-speed packaging equipment, roasters, sensors, palletizers/depalletizers, actuators, pneumatics, and PLCs.

Essential Skills

  • Electrical experience with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting machines.
  • Experience with conveyor systems and high-speed packaging equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and automated equipment is a plus.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 5 am to 2 pm. Employees frequently work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to electrical shock risks. The role occasionally involves working in high, precarious places, and in varying weather conditions, including wet or humid environments, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $71760.00/yr.
