Industrial Janitor - Manufacturing Facility

Schedule
Regular Shift:
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 7am-3:30pm
- Thursday & Friday: 6am-3:30pm
- Saturday: 6am-12pm
- 2 hours OT for the week
What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain production floors, workstations, restrooms, and break areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and remove oil, grease, and coolant spills.
- Safely dispose of metal shavings, scrap materials, and industrial waste.
- Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
- Clean machinery exteriors and surrounding work areas (no machine operation required).
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Support general facility maintenance while following OSHA and company safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous janitorial, industrial cleaning, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to safely handle industrial cleaning chemicals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
This position is located in an industrial machine shop where you'll work around manufacturing equipment, metal dust, oils, coolants, and moderate noise. PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots, is required.
