About the Role

As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance staff to perform routine and emergency repairs, maintenance, and renovations to the facility. You will also be responsible for managing the maintenance budget, developing and implementing maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Your exceptional leadership skills and attention to detail will enable you to effectively coordinate with other departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and nursing, to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of maintenance staff to perform routine and emergency repairs, maintenance, and renovations to the facility

• Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal facility performance

• Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and make recommendations for capital expenditures

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise

• Perform inspections and assessments of the facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effective services

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to maintenance staff to improve their skills and effectiveness

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance supervisor role

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with other departments

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
