Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! Assist with and perform general maintenance tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Director.
 Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>
Perform general maintenance tasks and demonstrate a high standard of performance.
</li>
<li>
Cut lawn, trims, and edges.&nbsp; Cleans grounds and removes litter.
</li>
<li>
Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.&nbsp; Waters lawn, shrubs, and flowers.
</li>
<li>
Make minor repairs to equipment.&nbsp; Complete interior maintenance such as painting, carpet cleaning, and wall repair.
</li>
<li>
Shovel snow from walks and driveways.&nbsp; Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice build-up.

</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
Previous maintenance experience preferred
</li>
<li>
Previous nursing home experience preferred
</li>
