Title: Assistant Property Manager, Part Time
Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Department: Operations
Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: 2300 15th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404
Schedule: 24 hours or less per week, days and time open to discussion; no nights/overnights, no weekends
Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities:
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for for managing all outreach activities with potential residents, including conducting tours, preparing records and traffic data, conducting marketing and market surveys, preparing rental applications, leases and other reports, and assisting residents with questions and service requests. In addition, this position is responsible for the following:
- Provide tours of homes and community to potential residents for purpose of leasing units
- Keep accurate records of both phone and walk-in traffic utilizing approved phone logs and marketing systems
- Enters property traffic data in computer system daily
- Discusses the advantages of leasing at the property with potential residents
- Conducts market surveys
- Conducts outreach marketing
- Prepares rental applications
- Prepares leases for qualified potential residents
- Completes reports as needed by Property Manager
- Assists residents
- Other tasks as needed
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Reliable Personal Transportation
- Previous residential property management industry experience
- Preferred previous experience with social work programs, such as housing stabilization, or coordination with individuals providing service
- Yardi experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to remain organized and multi-task
